Privacy Policy

EdgeFast LLC ("EdgeFast", "we") collects information needed to run accounts, provide Price Check analysis (Best / +$ found / Behind — not letter grades), store My Bets history (your private betting journal), process subscriptions, and improve product quality. This policy describes what we collect, why, and your choices.

1. Information We Collect

• Account data — email, display name, auth identifiers (via Clerk), plan tier, usage counts, notification preferences.
• Betslip content — uploaded images, extracted bet data, price checks, vs-fair estimates, My Bets history, and optional Edge Board posts.
• Billing — subscription status and Stripe customer references (payment cards are handled by Stripe, not stored on our servers).
• Support & moderation — issue reports, Edge Board post reports, and email correspondence.
• Device & analytics — browser type, approximate usage events via PostHog (if enabled), and push notification endpoints if you opt in.

2. How We Use Information

We use this information to provide Price Check analysis (Best / +$ found / Behind), save My Bets history, enforce quotas, power Edge Board and track-record features, process billing, send notifications you opt into, prevent abuse, respond to support requests, and improve accuracy.

2a. Public Board content and model improvement

If you post a public Edge Board screenshot or post, the image and related text may be used to operate, improve, and train EdgeFast's grading and slip-reading models. Betslip screenshots often contain personal information you chose to share (for example sportsbook usernames, account balances, or ticket IDs). Check images before posting.

Private My Bets journal slips and other non-public uploads are not used for that public training. We do not scrape third-party social posts into Edge Board as if they were organic EdgeFast users.

To stop a public post from being used going forward, delete the post (where the product provides that control) or delete your account from Profile. We then remove the post from public Board surfaces and from active training collection. Copies already absorbed into trained model parameters may not be fully reversed; we do not keep the original image or post visible on that basis. See Retention and Your Choices.

3. Cookies & Similar Technologies

EdgeFast uses essential cookies for authentication (Clerk session) and may use analytics cookies (PostHog) to understand product usage. You can block non-essential cookies in your browser; core grading may still work while signed in. We do not sell personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.

4. Service Providers & Sharing

We rely on subprocessors including Clerk (auth), Stripe (payments), Supabase (database/storage), Vercel (hosting), Railway (API), PostHog (analytics, if configured), Resend (email), and AI/market-data providers for extraction and odds. They process data only to deliver the service under contractual safeguards. They may collect IP address, device identifiers, and payment metadata as needed to authenticate, bill, prevent fraud, and operate the service. We do not sell personal information. Content you choose to post publicly (for example on Edge Board) is visible to other users as you publish it.

5. Retention

• Account & history — kept while your account is active; deleted when you delete your account (Profile → Delete account) or upon verified deletion request.
• Betslip images — retained with your history unless you delete the account or individual records where supported.
• Public Board posts used for training — kept while the post is public; removed from active training collection when you delete the post or account, as described in §2a.
• Billing records — retained as required for tax, accounting, and dispute resolution (typically up to 7 years where law requires).
• Support reports — retained for moderation and quality improvement; anonymized aggregates may be kept longer.

6. Your Rights (US & International)

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export personal data, and to opt out of certain processing. California residents (CCPA/CPRA): see Do Not Sell or Share (CCPA/CPRA) below. You may request disclosure or deletion via support@edgefast.ai. EEA/UK (GDPR): lawful bases include contract performance, legitimate interests (security, product improvement), and consent where required (e.g. marketing). You may lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.

Do Not Sell or Share (CCPA/CPRA)

California residents: we do not sell personal information, and we do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising as CPRA defines "share." Because we do not sell or share, there is no sale or share to opt out of today. If that ever changes, we will put an opt-out control on this page. You may still request disclosure or deletion via support@edgefast.ai.

We treat a Global Privacy Control (GPC) browser signal as an opt-out of sale and share, and as a refusal of non-essential analytics cookies.

California Shine the Light (Civil Code 1798.83): we do not share personal information with third parties for those parties' direct marketing.

7. Children

EdgeFast is for users 21 years of age or older only. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 21. Contact us to request removal if you believe a minor registered.

8. Security

We use encryption in transit (HTTPS), access controls, and reasonable organizational safeguards. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

9. Your Choices

Manage display name, odds format, notifications, and billing in the app. Delete a public Edge Board post, or delete your account anytime from Profile, to stop that content from being used in new training as described above. See also our Terms of Service and DMCA page.
